This last section of the book was the shortest part. Pig 3 “When Pigs Fly” followed farmers that raised pigs in a sustainable way. “The right way” as the called it. The farms allowed their pigs to roam and feed them plant based feed. The pigs were well taken care of and rarely got sick. The farmers actually liked going to work and loved their pigs. The animals produced a better marbled meat that many high restaurants buy. There are some down falls, the price of producing these pigs are more so there for the price of pork is more. The quality is better because the maximum quantity is not reached. This makes it so the meat from smaller farms is $15 a pound where as the meat from industrial farms is $3.49 a pound a major difference many people cannot afford.
